AFLAC worked with our fifth graders on cyber security once a month with innovative games and obstacles for them to solve.
PIEDMONT HOSPITAL
Our Robotics Team had the opportunity to visit Piedmont Hospital during a demonstration of the surgery robots. They were allowed to participate in surgery simulations and ask questions about where hospitals use these robots.
GREEN ISLAND
Britt David partnered with the Green Island Country Club to design a 3-D prototype to solve a problem with the golf ball hole inserts on the greens. The current design was getting damaged by the lawnmowers. Some fifth graders designed a 3-D image that solved their problem and are waiting for patent information to copyright and make money to fund more projects like these.
